Jeep was at the Delhi Auto Show where they showed off the new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, the first two Jeep models that Jeep will be offering in India.
The Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a 3.6 liter V6 engine that will be delivering about 275bhp and 359Nm of torque. There will also be a diesel version which will be powered by a 2.8-liter engine that will be delivering about 197bhp.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, on the other hand, will be powered by a 6.4-liter engine that will be delivering an impressive 475bhp and 644Nm of torque. The release of these Jeep models is just the beginning for Jeep.
Depending on how well the models does in India, it is believed that Jeep might consider opening up a plant in India. Do you think the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee will be accepted in India?
