Having the Jeep Renegade around means that customers will no longer have to choose between a capable off-roader and a good city vehicle. We do not often see Jeep releasing a model that does as well as on the road as the does off-road, which is why the Jeep Renegade was a nice surprise.
With the success they had with the 2015 model, they are hoping that the 2016 Jeep Renegade will be able to keep it up. The 2016 Jeep Renegade will be coming in with a 1.4 liter Intercooler Turbo Premium Unleaded 1-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The engine will be offering about 160hp and 184 torque and returns about 31mpg on the highway and 24mpg in the city. Safety features that will be included as standard are ABS, DRL, Traction control, tire pressure monitoring, fog lamps and more.
The base 2016 Jeep Renegade will be coming in with a $17,995 price tag.
