When Jeep announce that they will be releasing a new compact model that can be used as an urban on the road vehicle as well as an off-road vehicle, there were a lot of skeptics. Many believe that while the Jeep Renegade will probably have no problem taking on some of the tougher terrain off-road, its on the road drive will be far from impressive.
Well, it looks like Jeep was one step ahead of us all. The Jeep Renegade came in with a surprising comfortable on the road ride making it the perfect car in any kind of road condition.
Powering the Jeep Renegade is a 1.4 liter Intercooled Turbo Premium Unleaded I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be delivering about 160hp and 184 torque.
The Jeep Renegade will return about 24mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway and will come with safety features like DRL, ABS, tire pressure monitoring, traction control, fog lamps and more.
The Jeep Renegade retail price will start from $17,995.
