Honda has already announced that they will be killing off the Honda CR-Z in the US but for those still thinking about getting one, this comparison might help you make that final decision.
The Honda CR-Z will be coming in with a 1.5 liter inline 4 hybrid engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be delivering about 130hp and 140lb ft of torque. The Honda CR-Z will also be returning about 31mpg in the city and 38mpg on the highway. The CR-Z will be fitted with a few standard safety features like DRL, emergency braking assist, stability control, tire pressure monitoring and more.
The Toyota Prius C, on the other hand, will come in with a 1.5 liter inline 4 engine that will be mated to a CVT. The Prius C will deliver about 99hp and will return about 53mpg in the city and 46mpg on the highway. It will also be coming in with safety features like DRL, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, LED headlights and more.
The Honda CR-Z will retail for $20,295 while the Toyota Prius C will retail for $19,560.
