Are you thinking about purchasing the 2016 Honda Civic or is it not for you? Honda are returning to the real world and hoping to get some of their customers back with a new line-up. Have they been able to achieve this with the latest Civic though?
The 2016 Honda Civic will be released in 2017 and is going to be the 10th generation. It will compete up against the Ford Focus and the Volkswagen Golf. Honda have not been able to do this in over a decade. The vehicle will come with plenty of new technology, be more efficient and more spacious.
Production of the vehicle will take place in Swindon and Honda have invested over £200 million into the factory for the car’s production.
Photos of the vehicle have shown us that the design of it will be more sleek and stylish and that its front end has a fierce style, roof like a coupe, sleek headlights and stubby rear end.
The dashboard is expected to be cleaner and in the centre there will be a big touchscreen. The back of the vehicle will also be very spacious. The 2016 Honda Civic is believed to come with a 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine as well as a 1.6 litre diesel version and six speed manual or CVT gearing.
A 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine is expected to replace the current 1.8 litre. The expected cost of the 2016 Honda Civic is roughly £16,000.
