The 2016 Honda Civic is going to be the 10th generation and will be released in 2017 and compete up against the Ford Focus and the Volkswagen Golf. Honda have not managed to achieve this in over a decade. Tthe vehicle will be full of new technology, be more efficient and more spacious.
The 2016 Honda Civic will be produced in Swindon and Honda have invested over £200 million into the factory for the vehicle’s production. Images show us that the vehicle’s design will be more sleek and stylish together with sleek looking headlights, a roof like a coupe, a stubby rear end, and an agressive looking front end.
We predict that the appearance of the dashboard will be cleaner and that there will be a central large touchscreen and more than enough space in the back of the vehicle. It is believed that the 2016 Honda Civic will use the 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine together with a 1.6 litre diesel version and six speed manual or CVT gearing.
A 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine is believed to replace the 1.8 litre whihc is being used at the moment and the 2016 Honda Civic is expected to come at a cost of around £16,000.
