2016 GMC Acadia: Getting The Numbers Right

GM will be issuing a stop-sale notice after they found out that three of their models were given the wrong fuel economy stickers.

All models come with an EPA window stickers and in the case of the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave, the stickers on them showed the wrong fuel economy rating.

GM issue a stop-sale for all three of these models while they get the stickers fixed. On the stickers now, it states that the vehicle will return about 17mpg in the city, 24mpg on the highway and 19 on average but the actual EPA numbers should be 15mpg in the city, 22mpg on the highway and 17 on average.

According to GM, the new stickers with the right number should be arriving this week and that the stickers are being printed right now so the models sales should resume soon.
