The Ford Shelby GT will be coming in with a 5.2 liter V8 engine that will come mated to a six-speed transmission. The Ford Shelby GT will be offering about 526hp and 429lb ft of torque. The Chevrolet Camaro SS, on the other hand, will be powered by an LT1 V8 engine that will come mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Chevrolet Camaro SS models will offer about 455hp.
While the Camaro SS does come with fewer ponies to offer, it is also smaller and lighter compared to the Ford Shelby GT which means it will not need that much ponies to get it going.
