If you had to predict a winner, who would you choose? The powerful Ford Shelby GT or the small and light Chevrolet Camaro SS?
The Ford Shelby GT will be running on a 5.2 liter V8 engine that will be delivering about 526hp and 429lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission. What about the Camaro SS?
The top of the range Camaro SS will come with an LT1 V8 engine that will be delivering about 455hp. While the Camaro SS has fewer ponies to offer, it is smaller and lighter compared to the Ford Shelby GT and that should help them even things out.
While we liked what Chevrolet did with the Camaro, we were also a little disappointed that they did so little to the exterior design of the Camaro SS. So who do you think will win if these two were to go up against each other on the track?
