We still do not know for sure if Ford is going to bring the Ford Ranger back into the US but if they do, where will the Ford Ranger stand among the sea of competitors in the market right now?
The Ford Ranger was taken out from the US lineup due to poor sales but the sudden rise in demand for trucks here in the US might have convinced Ford that it is time to bring the Ford Ranger back. The truck has been doing great in markets like Australia.
Spies spotted the Ford Ranger getting tested here in the US which led to the speculation that we might see the Ranger making a comeback. It is believed that Ford might have planned to produce it at their Michigan plant. If so, the production will only be starting in 2017 after the Ford Focus and Ford C-Max contract ends.
It is believed that Ford might also build an SUV alongside the Ford Ranger.
