We still do not know for sure if the Ford Ranger will be coming back or not but if it does, the new Ford Ranger will be coming in to compete with models like the new Honda Ridgeline.
Due to poor sales, the Ford Ranger was taken out of the US market but the truck continued to strive in some other markets like Australia. With the truck industry now picking up speed in the US, Ford will be looking for a truck of their own and it is believed that the Ford Ranger is the one.
Spy spotted the Ford Ranger getting tested in the US which has led people to speculate on whether the Ranger will be coming back. It is believed that Ford will be producing the Ford Ranger here at their Michigan plant in 2017 after the Ford Focus and Ford C-Max contract ends.
There were also rumors about Ford looking to build an SUV alongside the Ford Ranger but we will have to wait and see.
