You would think that the Ford Mustang is too masculine to attract female drivers but according to the latest Women’s Performance Car of the Year award, the female drivers just can’t get enough of the Ford Mustang.
The 2016 Ford Mustang was named the Women’s Performance Car of the Year. According to Juliet Potter, one of the 17 female judge, the Ford Mustang is loved by those looking for a sporty car that turns heads and that is exactly what the Ford Mustang is right now. Coming in seconds was the Ford Focus RS which lost by only one point.
The Ford Mustang will be coming in with a few engine options. The based model will be powered by a 3.7 liter V6 engine. There is also a 2.3 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as well as a 5.0 liter V8 engine which will be pushing out about 435hp.
Ford is also looking to give it a slight upgrade for 2018.
