The Ford Mustang might be one of the top selling muscle cars in the US right now but it is still far from being the top-selling sports car in markets like Europe. To be fair, they have only been in Europe for a few years.
While Ford has been making some pretty impressive progress in the US, they just can’t seem to get to the top. Slightly ahead of the Ford Mustang in Europe is the popular Porsche 911 model followed by the Audi TT model.
The Ford Mustang did manage to take down the BMW 6-Seires as well as the Jaguar F-Pace by selling about 9231 units this year but they are still slightly behind Porsche who has already sold 9538 units this year and the Audi TT who manage to beat both of them with its 12,478 sales.
The Mustang might catch up to the Porsche 911 soon but we do not think they will be getting near to the Audi TT anytime soon.
