With you had to guess which of these three is the safest model to drive in, which one will you pick? The Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro or the Dodge Challenger?
Based on the IIHS test for all three of these model, you might want to stay away from the Dodge Challenger if you would like to keep your ankle. The Dodge Challenger scored a Marginal in the small overlap test, Good in the moderate overlap test as well as Acceptable in the Roof strength test. While is does not sound too bad, the test video showed that the tester had to dismantle the ankle of the dummy to get it out of the car.
The Ford Mustang managed to score an Acceptable for its small overlap test and good more its moderate overall test, side impact, roof strength and more. The Chevrolet Camaro only scored an Acceptable for the roof strength test but managed to score a Good in all the other category.
