The Volkswagen Golf R is no doubt one of the top performance model in the market but even they will have to be worried about the new Ford Focus RS model.
The current Volkswagen Golf R will come with a 2.0 liter inline 4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be delivering about 292hp and 280lb ft of torque and will return about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway. The Golf R will be fitted with features like traction control, stability control, dusk-sensing headlights and more.
The Ford Focus RS, on the other hand, will come with a 2.3 liter inline 4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Th engine will be delivering about 350hp and 350lb ft of torque.
Besides coming in with a few new features like the new Drift mode, the Ford Focus RS will also be fitted with safety features traction control, fog lights, DRL and stability control.
The Volkswagen Golf R will retail for $38,950 while the Ford Focus RS will retail for $41,680.
