Who doesn’t love the Chevrolet Camaro? The all-American muscle car is the base model for Bumblebee in the Transformer films and it will soon get a successor in 2016. However, fans don’t have to wait that long to catch a glimpse of the sports car in action.
Today, spy shots of the 2016 Camaro has been leaked online and it shows the car being tested on public roads. Of course, the Camaro is wrapped up in a black tarp-like camo which prevented us from analysing the details.
Nevertheless, we can still tell the size of the 2016 Camaro and as predicted, it is smaller than the existing models. The vehicle basically rides on the Alpha platform and since it is smaller than the Zeta architecture on the current Camaro, we can assume it to be lighter.
With the Camaro bound to lose some pounds, we won’t be surprised if it gets some massive performance improvement while also being more efficient than ever. It is surely going to be a better car overall.
All in all, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is as promising as it gets. Once the car gets stripped away from its camo, we will surely get more information about the vehicle. Stay tuned.
