The Chevrolet Colorado has been doing quite well for itself. It arrived on the mid-sized pick-ip truck market and as it now comes in the turbo diesel verison, it can compete up against the big boys.
There is one truck that, providing it actually happens, would certainly be a rival for the larger trucks and that is the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Master Chief.
Many people have likened the Colorado to the Toyota Tundra and the Ford F-150. However this isn’t really a fair comparison. That may be a different story if the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Master Chief becomes a reality though.
The concept of the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 was revealed at the SEMA show and included thousands of dollars worth of Mopar accessories. It had new colour options as well and if they had extended the brow shade then it could have been the MJOLNIR Mk. 6 helmet with wheels.
We are currently not sure whether the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept is going to become a reality and what the cost would be. It will compete with the bigger trucks if it does come on the market though.
