Ever since Chevrolet brought out the new Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, everybody has been expecting them to bring out the production version of the concept but that did not happen.
The much larger truck model will be coming in to compete with some of the larger trucks models in the market.
The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 that they showed off at the show came with a 2.8 liter Duramax turbo diesel four-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 181hp and 169lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission although fans are still hoping that Chevrolet might change it to an eight-speed auto transmission.
There is still no announcement on whether or not the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 will be made into a production unit or not but we are hoping that it would. The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 will compete with models like the Ford F-150 Raptor.
