It was believed that Chevrolet might be working on a larger version of the Chevrolet Colorado when they showed off the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Concept. Although Chevrolet did not announce that it will be made into a production model, the consumers seem to believe that the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is going to happen.
The model that they showed off came with a 2.8 liter Duramax turbo diesel four cylinder engine that could deliver about 181hp and 369lb ft of torque. The engine will come mated to a six-speed transmission although there were rumors about an eight-speed auto transmission being used instead.
If Chevrolet does decide to produce the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, the truck will come in to compete with some of the larger truck models in the market. Do you think Chevrolet could give the Colorado ZR2 the thumbs up?
