2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2: Nobody Would Mind

We have seen what Chevrolet had in mind when they brought out the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept and while Chevrolet did not mention anything about them working to turn the concept into a production model, the fans seems to be convinced that it will end up being a production model and that Chevrolet will be using it to compete with some of the larger trucks on the market.

Powering the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Concept is a 2.8 liter Duramax turbo diesel four-cylinder engine that will be pushing out about 181hp and 369lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission although the consumers are still hoping that we might see an eight-speed auto transmission on the production model.

There is no word on whether or not Chevrolet plans to make the concept into a production model but it looks like the consumers would not mind getting a slightly bigger truck from Chevrolet. Do you think Chevrolet should make the concept into a production model?
