As amazing as the Chevrolet Colorado is, there is only so much the mid-size model and do and that is why the consumers were hoping that Chevrolet will give the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 model a thumbs up for production.
We got to see the new Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept a few years ago when Chevrolet brought it out at one of the show. They never really did say that it would end up being a production model but for many it seems like the perfect plan for Chevrolet.
Now a few year later and there is no sign of the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. The truck at the show came in with a 2.8 liter Duramax turbo diesel four cylinder engine that pushed out about 181hp and 369lb ft of torque.
The concept came with a six-speed transmission but some people are saying that we might see an eight-speed auto transmission when the production model arrive. Will the Colorado ZR2 ever get the green light from Chevrolet?
