What a tease the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 was. Chevrolet showed off the concept a few years ago and while they did not mention anything about the concept turning into a production model, it was assumed that that would be what Chevrolet will be doing but it looks like that might not be what Chevrolet has in mind.
A few years have passed since we’ve seen the concept and still no news on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. The larger truck would be the perfect model to compete with some of the large size truck in the market.
The concept at that time was powered by a 2.8 liter Duramax turbo diesel four-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 181hp and 369lb ft of torque. The concept came with a six-speed transmission but fans are hoping the production model would get an eight-speed auto transmission.
