2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2: Bigger Brother Needed For Fight?

Chevrolet has been having some success with the new Chevrolet Colorado but the mid-size truck is still not big enough to compete with some of the bigger trucks in the market, that is why a lot of people believe that Chevrolet will be working on producing the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2.

They showed off the ZR2 concept revealing a bigger truck that will definitely have what it takes to take on the other big trucks in the market. Powering the Chevrolet Colorado ZR 2 id a 2.8 liter Duramax turbo diesel four cylinder engine that will push out about 181hp and 369lb ft of torque.

There were talks that we might see the Colorado ZR2 come with an eight-speed auto transmission but a six-speed transmission would be the more likely candidate. Chevrolet did not mention anything about sending the Colorado ZR2 into production but the consumers still think that it is going to happen eventually.
