The Chevrolet Colorado Diesel was supposed to arrive at the dealers last year but the whole diesel scandal and some other issues had led to the diesel powered truck getting delayed. Now that the diesel powered Chevrolet Colorado Duramax has arrived, will we start seeing things start getting better for Chevrolet and their Colorado truck.
Despite everything they had to offer, Chevrolet is still struggling to get the sales number of their Chevrolet Colorado. It is believed that the issue is not with the truck but the slow production rate. If that is the case, we are not sure the arrival of the diesel model will be any help.
The Chevrolet Colorado Duramax will be coming in with a 2.8 liter four cylinder diesel engine that will be delivering about 161hp and 169lb ft of torque. With the 2WD system, the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax will be delivering about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway.
The 4WD model will offer about 20mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway. Do you think this will change things around?
