Many believe that the delay of the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax is the reason why the Colorado is trailing behind the Toyota Tacoma but that is not the case.
With its new and stylish exterior design, impressive fuel economy and performance, the Chevrolet Colorado should be doing a lot better in the market but despite all its offering, the Colorado is still trailing behind the Tacoma.
It was initially predicted that things would change once the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax arrives as many of their customers are waiting for the diesel powered model but things remain the same even after the arrival of the diesel model.
That is because the problem was not the diesel powered model but the production rate. Chevrolet seems to have underestimated the Colorado and is still struggle to catch up to the demand. They recently announce that they will be upgrading the second plant in hopes that it would increase the production rate of the Chevrolet Colorado.
