Try as they might, Chevy is still struggling to gain a substantial lead against the Toyota Tacoma but they seem to be convinced that the Chevrolet Colorado with its new diesel engine will be just what they need to widen the gap.
The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Duramax model will be powered by a 2.8 liter four cylinder diesel engine that will be delivering about 181hp and 369lb ft of torque. Like all diesel model, the Colorado Duramax is still noisy but it is far less noisy than you would have expected.
The EPA rating for the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax confirmed as well. The Duramax model with the 2WD system will return about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway. The 4WD model, on the other hand, will be offering about 20mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway making it one of the most efficient truck on the market.
With the new Chevrolet Colorado Diesel model now available, does it mean that we will start seeing the Chevrolet Colorado pull ahead?
