People were excited when GM first announce that they will be releasing a diesel powered Chevrolet Colorado but they had to slow things down after the whole Volkswagen diesel incident.
The Chevrolet Colorado Diesel was supposed to arrive in the fall last year but they had to delay it. They did not reveal the reason for the delay but they did start delivery the trucks at the end of last year.
The Chevrolet Colorado Duramax model comes in with a 2.8 liter Duramax turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. It was later reported that the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax will return about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg in the highway with the two wheel drive system and 20mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway with the four-wheel drive system.
Now that they got the Chevrolet Colorado diesel up and ready, maybe we will start seeing them closing in on the Toyota Tacoma?
