Looking at what both the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang Shelby GT has to offer, it would seem like the Ford Mustang top of the range model will have more to offer but Chevrolet is not really out of it yet as they manage to balance things out in another way.
In terms of performance and power, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT seems to have the upper hand. Powered by a 5.2 liter V8 engine that will come mated to a six-speed transmission unit that will be delivering about 526hp and 429lb ft of torque, the Mustang certainly has more to offer compared to the Camaro SS.
The Camaro SS will be running on an LT1 V8 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission, the engine will be delivering about 455hp. While it might be offering less in terms of power, the Chevrolet Camaro SS also comes with a much lighter and smaller body which will help even things out.
