The BMW X5 and the Porsche Cayenne are two of the top large size premium SUV in the market. The Porsche Cayenne was a nice surprise when it first arrives but now that it has been around for a few years now, how will it fare when compared to models like the BMW X5?
The BMW X5 will be coming gin with a 3.0-liter engine that will be delivering about 300hp and 300lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission and will return about 18mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway. The BMW X5 was also given a 5-star rating for its overall safety.
The Porsche Cayenne, on the other hand, will be coming in with a 3.6-liter engine that will be delivering about 300hp and 295lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission and will return about 19mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway.
The BMW X5 will retail for $57,000 while the Porsche Cayenne will retail for $58,300.
