There were a lot of talk about Alfa Romeo working on a new SUV, an SUV that they will be releasing later this year. There are not a lot of details on what the Alfa Romeo SUV will look like but FCA might have just given us the clue we need.
Design boss of FCA Ralph Gilles recently releases an image of Lorenzo Ramaciotti sitting in the boot of what many people believe is the upcoming Alfa Romeo SUV. There is not much to see in the image since Ramaciotti covered up most of the car but the shape of the boot looks new. Others pointed out that the dashboard design looks different from what we have seen from Fiat and Chrysler.
It is believed that the Alfa Romeo SUV will be powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine that will be delivering about 150hp to 210hp or a 2.0-liter petrol engine that will deliver about 200bhp to 280bhp. Some say that a top of the range version with 500bhp might follow soon after as well.
