Come January next year, Volkswagen will be releasing the next-generation Passat and it is going to be mind-blowing. Despite that fact, consumers can look forward to booking the executive sedan next week on October 7.
This is confirmed earlier today after Volkswagen announced that the Passat will be opened for pre-orders beginning next week. Those who are interested for the saloon can also study the Passat’s price tag this moment.
For starters, the prices of the Passat vary based on its trim level and engine. The entry level Passat S that is powered by the 1.6 TDI engine with 120PS mated to a 6-speed manual transmission retails at £22,215. The highest end Passat is identified as the R-Line which is powered by a 2.0L BiTDI SCR engine that offers 240PS, mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox cost £35,505.
The Passat Estate model comes with the same amount of variations. Prices also differ between each trim levels and engine choice. In short, it is more expensive than the sedan models as the entry-level Passat Estate cost £23,745 and the top of the line model cost £37,035.
