Earlier this year, Toyota introduced their new design language through releasing the Camry and Vios. This new styling will soon be utilized for future Toyota vehicles, starting with the upcoming Prius Facelift.
With the new design cues applied, the Prius will look ruthless and beautiful instead of the usual gentle and decent combination. In detail, the Prius will be getting a more angular headlights, shaper grille and lots of air vents around the front to give off a sporty impression.
Inside the cabin, the Prius will carry a dark silver metallic theme which symbolizes the future. The dashboard is also the spot for the 4.2” colour TFT infotainment system that offers Bluetooth connectivity, reversing camera, sat nav and even live traffic information. Other features include Park Assist, electric seats, hill start assist and more.
Under the hood, the Prius Facelift runs on the same 1.8-liter VVT-i gasoline engine that is paired to an electric motor inside the gearbox. Also, the upcoming Prius will offer big improvements in fuel consumption from its predecessor.
On the downside of things, Toyota has yet to announce on the pricing of the vehicle. Nevertheless, we can expect that to be clarified in the coming months, when we get closer to the Prius Facelift’s release.
