For a couple of international motor shows now, Nissan has showed off an all-new Sports Sedan Concept. Today, the Japanese carmaker announced that the Concept will indeed be the next Nissan Maxima.
While it wasn’t clearly indicated by Nissan, the company did reveal that the Maxima will be a toned down version of the concept. Regardless, those who viewed the study are in love to see it running rampant on the streets.
When taking a closer look, the Concept is not just about looking futuristic. One can still spot Nissan’s signature design like the V shape chrome bar over the grille and also the boomerang shaped headlights. The Sports Sedan also rests on 21inch wheels with V-shaped spoke.
Inside the vehicle, everything is futuristic as well. The first thing an individual will notice is the centre touchscreen panel that comes with a translucent blue display. The cabin also comes with some floor lightings which matches the blue emitted by the screen. Aside from that, just about everything inside the Concept is wrapped in leather.
In short, the Sports Sedan study looks like the complete deal and seems ready to step into production. The vehicle is expected to be powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be able to produce 300hp and is mated to a CVT.
