Come next year, Nissan will be releasing the next-gen Maxima and it will be something extraordinary. This is due to the fact that the Maxima will be based on Nissan’s latest Sports Sedan Concept which has left many car enthusiasts drooling at the sight of it.
The study confirms that the Maxima will carry forward the ferocious, futuristic styling that is combined with Nissan’s design language. Among the features spotted on the vehicle are V-shaped chrome bar overlapping a new grille and also a floating roof. The latter is heavily inspired by that of the Nissan GT-R.
The awesomeness is also present inside the cabin. There, one can see a new centre infotainment system called the Friend-ME. Also, the dashboard has an angular styling that looks similar to those on the Ford Mustang.
The Nissan Maxima is going to be something really fast. The car is expected to draw its powers from the 3.5L V6 engine that runs on the RWD and the AWD architecture. This puts it in direct competition with the Dodge Charger, Ford Taurus, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet SS and Toyota Avalon.
Of course, fans of the Sports Sedan Concept can look forward to learning more on the vehicle when it gets released next year.
