For those that are eager to check out the rumoured next-gen Nexus 5, they will be pleased to learn that the upcoming device is going to come out equipped with a fingerprint scanner.
This was teased by Google at the ongoing I/O Conference when they showed off their new APIs for the fingerprint scanning technology based on the upcoming Android M platform.
The thing is that Google made the demonstration through a Nexus 5 smartphone. For all we know, the old smartphone didn’t have any fingerprint technology on-board and this hints on it to be the future device.
If so, we are a tad surprised to see that the upcoming Nexus 5 still looking identical to the existing model. Well, looks can be deceiving as the important thing is planted under the casing.
