2015 Mercedes E-Class: What To Expect?

Next year, Mercedes will be rolling out the all-new E-Class. This line of vehicle has existed for so long now and it has yet to disappoint the automotive industry. With the next E-Class getting closer to its unveiling party at the end of this year, what can we expect the car to offer?

For starters, Mercedes will be giving more power while achieving lower emissions to their upcoming vehicles. The cars will be the first in the Mercedes family to feature the brand new 9G-Tronic gearbox.

This new technology will optimize the E350 BlueTEC engine and see emissions dropping to 17g/km. The gearbox will also increase the gas mileage to 5.4mpg, the power to 254bhp.

Furthermore, every new E-Class will get Collision Prevention Assist Plus. It is basically a new design that reduces the impact of any collision. Also, it auto-brakes the vehicle when tailing a car that is not speeding more than 62mph. When cruising at 30mph, the auto-brakes will trigger upon sensing a stationary vehicle ahead.

The next E-Class will also be fully customizable and consumers can select the Premium and Premium Plus packs. For the fee of £2,695, users can get a panoramic sunroof, split folding rear seats, reversing camera and Memory Package on their sedan. This will save them 27% of additional fees.

All in all, the 2015 Mercedes E-Class will surely be something worth being excited about. It won’t be long now until the vehicles get unveiled in Q4 this year.
