What do you get if you leave the Mercedes Sprinter with Brabus, the tuning house? You get the Brabus Business Lounge.
The high roof Sprinter was recently revealed at the Moscow Motor Show and it has the long wheelbase and looks every bit like a van from the outside. There are the 18 inch Monoblock wheels, the LED daytime running lights, two new exhausts and a front bumper that has been redesigned. Brabus have gone all out to work their magic on the interior though. They have included four leather trimmed business seats that are in a face to face arrangement, with each of them reclining flat if passengers want to take a nap.
The seats come with lumbar support along with massage function, ventilation, heating and can be adjusted electronically with three position memory. There are two seats that are removable and these can be fitted into the luggage bay and this turns the vehicle into an eight seater.
Brabus also added in three power-retractable tables into the cabin along with climate control, a fridge and coffee machine. There are six reading lights that can be dimmed, an LED ceiling display that shows off a firework display or starry night sky and more.
For entertainment passengers are able to plug in a tablet into the media system, there is high speed internet access along with a hard drive, Blu-Ray player and PS4 console. There is an HDTV, via DVB-T or Apple TV that is transmitted onto a 42 inch HD LCD display which is situated behind the cab.
Content from smartphones can be mirrored onto the display via Miracast or onto the smaller 10 inch display for those in the rear facing seats and sound is via 1,200w Dolby surround sound. To reduce the number of switches needed for controlling the above, each of the seats has a five inch touch screen that can manage in the in-car functions.
At the moment there is no word on the cost and the Brabus Business Lounge is made to order.
