The Mazda 2 has been long overdue an update and the time has finally come for it to be given one! The same underpinning has been used on the current model for the past seven years and with so many automakers now having more improved options, it is certainly beginning to feel this way too.
It has been stated that the new Mazda is going to be far more efficient and that it will include Mazda’s new SkyActiv performance boosting technology. The vehicle is expected to follow the same route as all the other new models such as the 3, 6 and the CX-5 and have the exterior include their latest Kodo design language.
A little while ago, Australia’s Drive was given the opportunity to drive the car’s prototype version in Japan and the feedback from that was positive. It has been said that the new model is a more sophisticated version and that it is very able. A video was also recorded so people were able to see what the vehicle’s interior would look like and from what we are able to tell, this also follows the same route what the other new models have to offer.
