It is no secret that Kia has hired a top-notch ex-Audi designer to lead their designing team for future vehicles and the latter did just that when designing the upcoming Kia Sorento. While most other Kia concepts look exceptional, the latest Sorento looks as if it was developed by Volkswagen.
When looking at the Sorento Concept, the SUV has got taillights that are exactly like those on the VW Jetta, Polo Sedan and even Passat. To be fair to Kia, the VW-looking taillights might be similar but it comes with a different variation.
This is not surprising as the ex-Audi designer which Kia hired has the knowledge to creating such a taillight. After all, Audi is owned by Volkswagen and the same taillights have been recycled between the brands.
The sad part is that Kia won’t be offering anything original. The Sorento Concept is already breath-taking and seeing some replicated features takes our interest away from it.
