In a week from now, all eyes will be at Utah as both Jeep and Mopar are hosting the annual Easter Jeep Safari event. There, Jeep’s fans can look forward to seeing many interesting concept vehicles, and also the next-generation Wrangler.
Yesterday, the American carmaker further announced that three new Wrangler concepts will be added to the long line of vehicles coming to the event and they are all teased to be the next generation compact 4×4.
The first concept is known as the Wrangler Level Red while the second concept is called the Wrangler MOJO. Both of them are equipped with a 2 inch lift kit, a Dana 44 crate axles on the front and rear with a 4:10 ratio and a 17inch alloy 35 inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires. Powering the vehicles is a 3.6 liter V6 engine mated to a six speed transmission.
The differences between the Level Red and the MOJO are very small. The former got its name from the red accent that pops out of the black paintjob while the latter is coloured in orange. Also, the Level Red is a two-door Wrangler whereas the MOJO is a four-door Wrangler.
The third and final concept is called the Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance. It comes with features like a push button electric locking Dna 60 axles at the front and rear, 37 inch BFGoodrich Mud terrain rubber, 4 inch lift kit, 4.88 gearing and 4:1 Rock Trac transfer case.
