2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Facelift Put On Hold As Red Hot Model Gets Teased

Earlier this year, Jeep teased on the Grand Cherokee Facelift that is due to arrive next year. However, the attention has shifted away from the vehicle after Jeep unveiled the limited edition Grand Cherokee SRT Vapor Edition.

The latter stole the spotlight at the recent Paris Motor Show as it left most of its viewers jaw-dropping in awe. This is owed to the striking Redline Red Pearl Clear Coat shade of the Grand Cherokee Red Vapor. Of course, the vehicle is confirmed to come in other colours like Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and a Bright White Clear Coat.

Beyond the amazing paint job, we noticed a lot of high quality elements being added to the limited edition model. This includes glossy-black appointments on the liftgate badge, “Jeep” hood emblem and rear light-bar badge, the “Grand Cherokee” door badge, lower grille bezels, and upper grille inserts. All of these are completed with a 21”, 5-spoke Goliath wheels that comes with black chrome finish.

Inside the vehicle, there are some new additions as well. There are new sports seats, a backlit, flat-bottomed, leather-wrapped steering wheel; and Radar Red accents spread throughout the cabin. In terms of technology, Jeep has equipped the vehicle with a Uconnect 8.4AN touchscreen radio and speakers.

Under the hood, things are still the same as how it is with the existing Jeep models. While it all sounds exciting, Jeep failed to announce on when the Grand Cherokee SRT Vapor Edition will be released. Even so, we believe it will debut very soon from now in the American and European market. Of course, the number of units produced will be limited.
