The soon to be released Jaguar F-Pace crossover is said to be not only fast, but also comfortable, however it’s launch has been rather slow and not not without problems. Luckily things will all come together very soon when at long last Jaguar reveal their finished product in two weeks time at the Frankfurt Mmotor Show. We are allowed one more look at the forthcoming vehicle beforehand though.
Once upon a time Jaguar were happy to leave the high-riders to its sister brand Land Rover, however they have revealed they are hoping to make it onto the crossover market by showing off the C-X17 two years ago during the Frankfurt show. Since then we have seen the concept in a range of different colors and we have lost count of the amount of spy shots we have seen of prototypes being tested as well as more teaser pictures and videos, some of which hardly any camouflage was used in the slightest. This is he best look we have been able to have to date though. Along with that, it has also been confirmed that the crossover will make its way onto US showrooms in spring next year.
The production F-Pace is shown above and towards the end of the video below in S trim, production spec, and in profile before it is debuted worldwide. By the looks of things compared to the concept, it is obvious that Jaguar have stuck to their original concept. The rear haunch has been smoothed out, the roofline looks a bit more sloped, the side vent has been reshaped and there have been a few small tweats to detail made here and there. Apart from that it is an exact copy as far as we can tell. Tthe wheel design even looks the same. We will have to wait till we are able to see it properly close up before we can give our final thoughts on it though, although we expect that we will be shown some more before it makes its debut anyway.
