In a year from now, Hyundai will be releasing the all new Genesis Sedan. There is a lot of anticipation for this upcoming vehicle and it already left the Genesis Coupe in the dark. However, an insider revealed to us that the Coupe is getting special attention inside Hyundai’s headquarters.
The lad added that the Genesis Coupe will get updated to a new model and it will come with some exquisite design with avant-garde styling. In short, the Genesis Coupe will be heavily inspired by the Hyundai HND-9 Sports Coupe Concept which was unveiled at last year’s Seoul Motor Show.
Instead of keeping things small like the old concept, Hyundai will be giving the Coupe the ability to accommodate four adults with ease. The exterior design will feature more hard creases, a wide, mesh grille and butterfly doors.
Under the hood, the Genesis Coupe is being linked to a V8 mill but we are more likely to see it powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder on the common market. The insider concluded that the Genesis Coupe will be unveiled at the end of next year, before being shipped worldwide in early 2016.
For Hyundai, it will be their first time to go all out in creating a super car. If everything is to go as planned, we could see the Genesis Coupe competing in the same segment with the Corvette and Viper.
