The Honda Jazz is among one of the bestselling subcompact hatchback in the last decade and soon, it will be getting a new, updated model. Known as the 2015 Jazz, Honda is currently grooming the concept for the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
Even with all the excitement, we don’t expect many new things to come in the upcoming hatchback. When looking at the already released concept image, the Jazz basically adopted more design cues from its American twin, the Honda Fit.
The differences are only with wing at the rear, a shark fin antenna and a new set of wheels. On another note, the design sports too many lines which made it look like a mess. Aside from that, everything is identical to the Fit.
Under the hood, however, the Jazz will be powered by the newer 1.3-liter i-VTEC Earth Dreams that is paired to either a 6-speed manual or CVT transmission. While it might be a smaller motor than the 1.5L used in the Fit, Honda revealed that it is able to produce the same amount of power, while returning better gas mileage.
The 2015 Honda Jazz looks like the complete deal but it is nothing that we are excited for. After all, it is still way behind the Ford Fiesta on every level. Nevertheless, we will look forward to the Paris Motor Show that is happening in a couple of weeks from now, and hope for Honda to throw a surprise.
