It is no secret that Honda is launching the all-new Civic Type-R next year but today, we can get a good look at what the sports hatchback has got to offer.
An image of the vehicle running on the streets of Croatia has been shared online and it shows the rear of the Civic Type-R. When studying the image, we noticed that there are some changes from the concept that was unveiled earlier this year.
In detail, the Civic Type-R does not have the study’s steroidal wheel arches and front and rear fender air slits. On the other hand, the enormous rear wing and the rear diffuser remain intact on the vehicle.
The photographer revealed that the Civic Type-R is shooting promotional videos and photos. If this is true, then it won’t be very long until the hatchback gets released worldwide.
For all we know, Honda will be equipping the Civic Type-R with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four VTEC engine that will pump 280hp on the car’s front wheel. This is definitely something to look forward to.
