The upcoming, next-generation Honda Civic Type-R is truly going to be something revolutionary. The sports hatchback is still in development at the moment but it is already engraving its name in history as the best in that is yet to come in its segment.
This cannot be blamed as a month ago; Honda was sighted bringing the Civic Type-R to the legendary Nurnberg-ring to do a sprint test. An insider at the race course revealed to us that the Type-R is immediately crowned as the world’s fastest FWD sports hatch to race on the track.
On another occasion not long later, Honda invited 200 lucky Type-R owners to test out the future vehicle at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. While no details were leaked, Honda did say that the feedback from the drivers couldn’t be any more positive.
What is mysterious to us all is how the Civic Type-R will be designed like. While that has yet to be revealed, Honda teased the masses by saying that the final product won’t be any different from its concept that was unveiled earlier this year.
