The Honda Spirior, aka the Honda Accord in China, is set to get a makeover.
The makeover will come from Honda along with Honda DongFeng Automobile. The design of the car was shown off recently at the Beijing Auto Show in China and it does look a lot like it has taken the design from the Civic Type R.
The Honda Spirior is said by Honda to have “significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies as well as safety features”. Along with showcasing it they revealed at the same time that the production version of the 2015 sedan will be out in 2014.
There was a 2.4 litre direct injection four cylinder gas engine (most compatible with 0w20 and 5w20 oils) with the 8 speed DCT transmission under the hood. The production version should have the same combination when it arrives and safety and interior features are said to include lane departure warning, head up display and blind spot display.
