It seems that the Honda Spirior will be getting a facelift and in case you don’t know, this is actually the Honda Accord, which was given an alternative name for the Chinese market.
Honda and Honda DongFeng are behind the make-over and they showed off the new design recently at the China Beijing Auto Show. From what we can see it does seem to have some of the designs of the Civic Type R.
The Honda Spirior is said to have “significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies as well as safety features” according to Honda. Along with showcasing the car they revealed that they will launch the production 2015 sedan this year.
The vehicle will have the 2.4 litre direct injection four cylinder gas engine that comes with the 8 speed DCT transmission. It is thought that the production model will also have the same. Features are said to include blind spot display system, head up display and lane departure warning.
