Next year, Honda will be releasing the 2015 Honda Accord and it is going to get a new look. While nobody has a clue on how the next Accord will be designed, a recent facelift to the existing Honda Accord in China could just be the base model for the future sedan.
Both DongFeng and Honda had just given the Accords in China a massive facelift and it looks sportier than ever. The Accord features a large grille with its trim lines going around the sharp headlamps. As a matter of fact, many of the Accord’s new design comes from the Civic Type R.
Then again, the Accords in China are called the Spirior and the facelift variant arrived with significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies as well as safety features.
The vehicle runs on the 2.4L direct injection 4-cylinder petrol engine that is mated to an 8-speed DCT transmission. It will also come with features like the head up display, lane departure warning and blind spot display.
