All the buzzes are about the upcoming Honda Civic Type R as it has been touted to be something revolutionary. The FWD sports car has already got its design leaked on the internet and it looks stellar.
Well, the Accord family too will get a facelift next year but nobody has a clue on the sort of design it will feature. This is until recently, when both DongFeng Automobile and Honda revealed a concept of the upcoming Spirior.
The Spirior is basically the Honda Accord in China. When viewing the concept, one should be able to notice that the design is totally different from the existing Accords. In short, the sedan has a super-sporty design like never before.
The facelift features a large grille that spans out to the headlamps. Furthermore, Honda claimed that the car will be achieving significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies as well as safety features.
Funny enough, most of the changes on the newly designed Accord come from the upcoming Honda Civic Type R. Then again, the Accord will be powered by 2.4 liter direct injection four cylinder gasoline engine paired with an 8 speed DCT transmission.
The future of Spirior looks bright with the concept and it might just be the official thing for the global version of the Accord.
